BRIBIE ISLAND AFL CLUB

We are thrilled to welcome Cameron Croad as Head Coach of our inaugural U17 Girls team for 2026. Cameron has extensive coaching experience, starting with Coorparoo’s Senior Men’s Coaching Group, then moving to Broome to launch and be head coach of the inaugural Broome Bulls Women’s Seniors team. Most recently, he was part of Wilston Grange’s Seniors Men’s Coaching Group in the QAFL, guiding both Senior and Development teams into a 2024 finals campaign alongside ex-Brisbane Lion Brent Moloney. Footy definitely runs in the family, while Cameron was drafted to AFL club Carlton in 2002, His older brother Trent played 223 AFL games and was part of Hawthorn’s 2008 premiership team. I can’t wait to get involved in the local community and meet all the girls ready to play AFL, whether it’s their time to step up to U17s and continue their footy career or they’re completely new to the game. All are welcome. This is going to be a lot of fun and hopefully backed by some success along the way!
